I really wanted to like this place, especially given the decent prices, but it was one of the most off-putting dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The restaurant is extremely dirty and has a overpowering, nauseating smell — like walking into a house that hasn’t been cleaned in months, mixed with the odor of dirty, unwashed people and bad personal hygiene. It’s the kind of stale, sour smell that clings to you and immediately kills your appetite. The visible areas already look grim, which makes me very concerned about the state of the kitchen behind the scenes. It genuinely feels dank and dumpy. The staff seemed completely checked out. Their attitudes and overall demeanor made it clear they didn’t want to be there — and didn’t particularly want customers there either. It created a weird, uncomfortable vibe that made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. The food itself is just okay — pretty basic and nothing special, but decent enough for the price point. Nothing I’d go out of my way for, and certainly not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. I’ve written plenty of 5-star reviews for places that earned them, but this is nowhere close. I like to order to go, I got a cold and ordered chicken pho and it was perfect for me getting better and supporting the nutrition I needed. It’s delicious 😋

Got in 30min before closing and they accommodated me, Pho was balanced no over powering of other seasonings, got the large bowl and priced right!! definitely recommend!!

Walked in and for a cold December afternoon the restaurant was very cold. Walking in, the floors were very dirty and the tables were wobbly. The service was terrible. The woman “helping” us had 0 customer service and had a very bad attitude. The wait time to get water, menus, and food was extremely long. The food did not compensate for the flaws but the food wasn’t the worst. The kitchen smelled like it was burned and in turn the rice we got was all stuck together and burned. Don’t use their restrooms.

We visited Pho House in Ypsilanti today and had a great experience! We ordered the summer rolls and the house special pho—both were fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the summer rolls were so fresh and delicious. Service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. Can’t wait to come back and try their mango smoothie next time! Highly recommend!
